This is probably 1952 in New House Oast. 4th from the left could be Norman Smiley with his wife 7th from the left. Next to her is John Brown, who was brewer in charge of Hop Farms. He was later to become MD of Guinness Hop farms and Head Brewer at Dublin. His obituary can be found at http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/obituaries/article1826240.ece
