Even the cameras came to the picking machine. Here we see a movie camera set up and in the background a still photographer looking for his next shot.
In the background you can see the leaf pickers at work and on the right hand side at the end of the conveyor belt the area where the hops are put into pokes for transportation to the oast house. There would either be a shut off mechanism or a "two poke hopper" to enable the pokes to be filled constantly.
